Splitska is situated on the northern side of the island and is approximately 7 km away from Supetar. From the port in Splitska, in ancient times, famous stone of Brac was exported and was used for the construction of Diocletian's Palace in Split. In the vicinity of the settlement you can see the quarries, and in the quarry Rasohe there is a Heracles relief carved in the rock. Cerinic family castle enriches the cultural heritage of ska along with the ruins of the St. Jadre church from the fifth century and the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stomorna. The population is mainly engaged in olive oil and wine production and tourism. Accommodation can be found in apartments and rooms in private ownership.
